Platycheirus aurolateralis Stubbs, 2002

Biology & ecology:

This species is as yet poorly known. The larvae of the genus are aphidophagous. No obvious habitat affinities have been detected as yet.

Distribution:

Primarily known from southern England with a single outlier from north Yorkshire.
